About Team WSR (Grades 3-8)
Team WSR focuses on building endurance, agility and confidence in a skier using both the skate and classic techniques. Coaches work with all abilities by playing games and using skill development activities to increase ski awareness. While racing is optional, we encourage all skiers to try racing as it is an important aspect of the nordic ski culture and helps skiers gain fitness and confidence in ski skills. Woodstock Nordic Runners provides race support at all races.
